Day's activities when the phone rang.
It was my elderly friend who has
Limited eyesight and hearing.
Each week I take her with me to
Church and shopping.
"I'm dizzy and feel like I'm going to
Black out," she said.
"Call 911," I told her.
She called right back.
"I can't get them."
"Okay, I'll be right over."
I called the squad for the frightened
Lady, and the men transported her to
A nearby emergency facility.
I was glad I was allowed to join her.
I prayed with my friend and
Reminded her of last week's sermon.
"We don't know what lies ahead of us, but
God does. And He will never leave us.
We can trust Him."
"You mean I'm in good hands."
"Yes! That's it."
Eventually my friend was admitted to
The hospital.
The little lady's day had been turned
Topsy turvy.
Mine was disrupted as well.
But I'm glad I was available to help my
Friend in need, and I'm especially glad
That she's in God's good hands.
