Our lazy day had gone as Planned. We browsed the Book Loft with Its 32 rooms without spending a Penny. We sipped our coffee on the patio of The coffee shop next door and Asked a patron to snap a picture of us. It was then I saw the woman tumble. She was in a special boot because of A broken foot and was wheeling a Knee scooter. The device gave way on the uneven Cobbled sidewalk which caused Her to fall. She sat weeping beside her Husband as they leaned against the Building. "Can we help?" I asked. "No. I'm just so upset. We traveled Here from West Va. to celebrate my Birthday and now this." "I'm so sorry. Can I pray with you?" "Yes." I held the gal's hand and prayed for Her healing and peace and a safe Trip back home. "Thank you so much," she said. "I really appreciate it." As we left, I also left her with a Tract and my blog address. "I'll read it on the way home," she Told me. The couple's day had been upended, And our interaction with the pair Was unexpected. But I believe the interlude in our Lazy day was just what our Father intended. |
