I recognized His hand again. I obeyed the urge to take a newly Baked muffin to my neighbor, and to Do it "right now." But the kindly gentleman wasn't alone. He had a visitor, and they both Invited me to join them. At one point in my life, I would have handed my friend the lemon poppy seed muffin and High tailed it back home, for I was Wretchedly shy. (Though my girls can't believe it.) But this time, I sat down, chatted, and Saw God turn the conversation to a Spiritual one. The visitor thought he could get to Heaven simply by doing his best, and I shared that our best is never enough. Without hesitating, I laid out clearly the Gospel truth. "I haven't heard it explained quite that Way before," he said. I told him he was my divine appointment For the day. Frankly, as I walked home, I was dumbfounded. I shook my head in disbelief wondering how God had transformed me from a timid Believer to a bold one. I really can't explain it. But I'm proof that if God can change me, He can change anyone, Even you. |

I have been asking the Lord to make me such a bold believer. Thanks for reminding me that HE can.

Thanks, Debbie. I'm glad the Lord is working in you. As we spend serious time with Him and pray for opportunities , and then look for them, He surprises us. And then when we see Him work, it makes us more open and ready for the next time.
