Sender wrote "Happy Mail."
Sure enough, when I opened it, the
Sweet note inside did make me
Happy, so happy that I sent out
Cards to several other people, just
Trying to pass the happiness along.
On the back of the envelope the
Sender wrote "Happy Mail." Sure enough, when I opened it, the Sweet note inside did make me Happy, so happy that I sent out Cards to several other people, just Trying to pass the happiness along.

(I found this poem that I wrote one year ago today. I'm posting it again in memory of our precious sister Dana who died about 2 weeks after I wrote it.)
The young woman's cancer is no longer Treatable and hospice has begun. She's torn between trusting God and Trying to understand what He has in Mind. "But I must cling to Him," she told me. "I have no other options." I can think of some. She could choose to despair or Rail at God, or decide He must not Even exist. How could a good God put her and her Family through this? But as I've prayed for my battle scarred Friend, I know she's right. Turning her back on the One who has Sustained her in the furnace and Who will carry her home is not An option. What I miss most are the hugs, the
Ones from my grandson, my Friends, and the warm embrace from The sweet gentleman who always Greets me at church. Air hugs and smiles from a Distance do not suffice. I'm discovering that a loving touch is Essential for my well being. When the restrictions are lifted I'm Going to hug everyone in sight. Be forewarned. Many Facebook folks are posting
Their senior pictures online. I'm wondering, however, if the Seniors who missed out on Graduation this year are Really encouraged by these Photos. When they see how lovely we Once were and what we have turned Into, they must ask themselves, "Will that really happen to me?"
We are warned that when
Something sounds too good to Be true, it probably isn't. But when it comes to grand and Glorious Easter, it really is. He is risen! He is risen indeed! Even Jesus asked why.
On the cross, despite His Weakened state, He managed to Cry out to His Father, "My God, My God, Why have You forsaken Me?" His answer came on Easter morning. He had needed to be humbled before He Could be exalted. "...He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. Therefore God also Has highly exalted Him..."
