I bought the scarecrow last Summer at a barn sale and added a Pumpkin to complete the display for My patio. The jolly fellow looks a bit out of Place since the trees are still green and My summer flowers are flourishing. Nevertheless, it's official. It's fall. And it feels like it. Overnight, the temperature plummeted. I love the trappings of autumn, the cider, Vibrant leaves and all things pumpkin. Yes! Pumpkin muffins, cookies, bread, Ice-cream and especially warm Pumpkin pie topped with real Whipped dream. (The aroma alone is delectable, Returning me to my mom's kitchen.) I stored my summer mugs away and Retrieved my fall ones from the Cabinet in the garage. I drank my coffee out of my Pumpkin mug and raised it in a Toast to the season. The trees may not be aware it's fall, But I am. |

It took 4 hours in the hot sun to plant
My begonias. To save my knees I scooted along my Patio on a stool. It never occurred to me that the Ridges on my little plastic stool Could do damage. By bedtime I realized I had Developed blisters which makes it Hard for me to sit. I do believe I would have preferred sore Knees.
