God seems so very far away. I've been there. I've felt forsaken, too, wandering, Wondering how I could possibly take Another step. But a pastor once advised, "When You're in the wilderness just keep Walking untill you reach the other side." Don't camp in the desert, dear sister. Don't settle down there. Just keep pushing ahead, crying out To God, Repeating Isaiah 41:13 a hundred times Over, Allowing "Great Is Thy Faithfulness" to Wash over your soul. And when the birds begin to sing again, and You notice that joy is creeping back, you Will realize that the wilderness is finally Behind you, and you will sense that you Didn't traverse the wasteland alone.
