The older lady was the grandma and
The younger her granddaughter.
She was expecting a child, but the
Father was out of the picture.
"He is pursuing others," the mom-to-be
Informed me.
I sympathized.
I said I would pray.
I gave the weary woman my
Tract, "Life Isn't Fair."
"Thank you," she said.
"You cheered me up.
Can I give you a hug?"
We embraced and went our
Separate ways, grateful that we
Had chosen the same
