I stepped out onto my patio on this gray Dreary morning to search for Signs of spring. I discovered a few. The birds were chirping. The rain had turned the grass Green, and my neighbor's daffodils Were pregnant, ready any moment to Burst into bloom. Inside, I scrubbed my spring mugs Clean. They had been stored in the garage, Ready to be retrieved today. I'll enjoy drinking my coffee from One of them this morning. I'll celebrate the season with Jesus, Just the two of us. The pesky virus can shut down salons, And restaurants, and theaters and Gyms. But it can't stop spring. |
