As I pumped gas into my empty tank a Few snowflakes were swirling around me. I noticed that one single flake had Landed on the door handle. It was so perfectly shaped that at First I thought it had been painted there, A car decoration. Since the surface was so cold it Didn't melt. I knelt down to examine the Six pointed icy star. I've never gotten over my fascination with Snowflakes, their delicate design, Their unimaginable variety. In preschool we cut them out of paper and Hung them around the room. I shared with the children the astounding Story of "Snowflake Bently." The simple farmer had spent his life Photographing the crystals. He became world renowned and in His 50 years of study, he never discovered Two that were alike. God could have just made them identical in Tiny frozen orbs. But instead, He chose to amaze us with His creativity. His snowflakes reveal that our Creator not Only delights in beauty, but in Diversity. |
