I had been hoping for Snow before Christmas, Enough to blanket the ground, To hide the grass. And to my delight, the flakes Arrived today, huge flakes Swirling outside the window panes Creating a snow globe effect. A rabbit scampered into the Woods as I sipped my Coffee from my winter mug. Danny and I turned our Recliners to face the Windows to get a better view of The snowscape, to simply Savor the scene. Snow can quickly get old. But on this December day the White flakes were brand new. "It's perfect." I told Danny. He agreed. And since we're cozy inside, With no place to go, Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow. |
