Friend and I stopped at McDonalds, and
Since the drive thru line was long we
Went inside.
"We may as well eat here," we
Decided.
I had no idea that my keys were
Missing until a giant sized young
Man walked into the dining area and
Asked, "Did anybody leave their
Keys on the counter?"
I immediately knew they were mine, but
Before I could get up he said, "I'll get
Them for you."
What a thoughtful gesture!
I sincerely thanked the burly
Man who sat down at another table to
Eat with a friend.
But the thought nagged at me.
"Just maybe this man is my divine
Appointment for today," so I wrote a
Note on one of my tracts and handed it
To him as I left.
"Thank you," he said, "I'll read it."
And indeed, I saw him do just
That.
I wonder about the kind stranger.
Could he be lost like I once was?
If so, may Jesus find him too.
Jesus said, "If you had one hundred sheep, and one of
them strayed away and was lost in the wilderness,
wouldn't you leave the ninety-nine others to go
and search for the lost one until you found it?"
