At the school program I searched all The faces onstage until I Honed in on a precious one, That of my grandson. When we made eye contact, we Both grinned, and until the end of The program I strained to see him, Noticing the other students but Intent on the boy that belonged to me. Is that the type of attention God wants? He instructs me to "seek His face always." * He's not hiding from me, but He's so Easily lost in the crowd of competing Voices and ideas, and in the distraction of My busy days. If I search in His Word, I find Him. Walking in His world I see Him, in His Creativity, His faithfulness, and His unimaginable power. If I look carefully, I can't miss Him, and When our hearts connect, I can't contain Him. *Psalm 105:4 |
