Whenever it's been awhile since I've seen my grandsons, I"m Bound to say, "You're getting so tall!" They are. Shooting up. Lanky. Lean. One with a bottomless stomach. But walking on the trail at the Park today, A boy on each side of me, They still wanted to hold My hands and chatter nonstop. I'm storing up these Tender moments, Writing them down. So one day, before long, When they've outgrown Grandma, I won't forget. And when they no longer Hold my hands, I pray they will always Hold me in their hearts. |
