My neighbor was walking in his yard when
His legs gave way and he tumbled to
The grass.
Since his wife and I weren't able to get
Him up, I knocked on another neighbor's door to
Ask for help.
But before we could get back to the man, there
Were already four or five people there to
Assist him, and working together
They soon had him in his wheelchair.
Too often when a Christian brother or
Sister "falls," our first response is to
Turn away, not wanting to be tainted by
The person's sin.
We could take a lesson from my
Neighbors.
"...pity the man who falls and has no one
to help him up." Ecclesiastes 4:10
"Brothers, if someone is caught in a sin,
you who are spiritual should restore him gently.
But watch yourself, or you also may be tempted." Galatians: 6:1
