The tea cup belonged to Dottie. It was displayed in the curio Cabinet in her dining room, part of A collection that took years to Come together. Each fragile cup was unique, a Gift to her from someone special. I admired the assortment when I Was in her home. On her 86th birthday, Dottie gifted Each of her kids and grandkids with One of the dainty cups, and after Dottie's homegoing my daughter Passed one of the meaningful Mementoes on to me. When I hold the delicate cup in my Hands which was once nestled in Hers, I realize it's more than a Teacup. It's a reminder of Dottie's love of Beauty and her love for her family, Which, thankfully, included me. |
