Loved to bake.
But giving thanks isn't optional.
Instead of moaning, "If only..." I choose to be
Grateful that I was Jack's wife at all and
That my loved ones are crowded around my
Table which is loaded down with more
Food than we can eat.
I choose gratitude.
I choose to focus not on what's gone on this
Thanksgiving Day, but on what
Remains.
